An Important Note about our Decaffeinated Kona Coffee

Decaffeinated 100% Kona Coffee We take our organic coffee to a local processor who uses the CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) method of decaffeinating coffee.  In the CO2 decaffeination process, water soaked coffee beans are placed in a stainless steel container called the extraction vessel.  The extractor is then sealed and liquid CO2 is forced into the coffee bean at pressures of 1000 pounds per square inch to extract the caffeine.  This process removes 98.25 % of the caffeine yet doesn’t change the flavor components giving you a fuller flavored cup.
